Frequently Asked Questions about Your Florida Beach Wedding...
How do we apply for a marriage license?

This can be done at any Florida County Clerk of Court’s office. It may be used statewide.

When you apply for your license, you'll not only need a proof of identification and age, will need to provide any information about previous marriages. Picture ID such as a driver's license and your Social Security card or a valid passport number or I-94 card. The fee is $93.50. Florida residents have a 3 day waiting period but for non residents there is no waiting period. The license is valid for 60 days. You must present us your license before the ceremony can begin.

What happens if it rains?

Luckily Florida is nicknamed the Sunshine State. We do, however, offer several solutions if the rain does come…

1) You could have a backup location set in place, and we do recommend this for every wedding.
2) We can postpone to another day and all monies will be applied to your new date.
3) We can get WET! We don’t mind playing in the rain and it could make for a very memorable day. Unfortunately, if there is lightning nearby, we MUST vacate the beach.

Do you offer receptions?

Although we personally do not offer reception services, we will be happy to assist you in finding the perfect persons that would love to do your reception.

Are the pictures done by a professional photographer?

We are staff photographers of S.E.A. Ceremonies and pride ourselves on taking beautiful pictures. We take an average of 100 photos per wedding and let you have them all. We do minor editing for color and love to experiment with special effects. However, we can assist you in finding a “professional photographer” if you would also like traditional studio portraits done. Your friends and family are always encouraged to take as may pictures as possible. You can never have to many memories. Look on our “A La Carte” menu to add disposable cameras for your guests.

Can I order more photo albums or pictures?

Sure you can, all additional photo prints and albums are available on our “A La Carte” selections.

How do we choose a location?

Locations vary from every bride and groom and it is your choice. Is there a special beach you or your parents visited as a child? How about an historical coastal city you’ve read about? Give us a call and we will be happy to assist you with choosing that special place. We can even come to your home to perform the ceremony.

Do you only do beach weddings?

We know that sand in your toes is not every couple’s dream come true, so we are happy to set up and perform weddings in parks, gardens, backyards, or anywhere else you would like.

Where are you located?

We are located in Melbourne, at the heart of Florida's Space Coast, but we serve all of Florida's beautiful beaches.

Can we meet with you prior to the ceremony?

Sure you can!

Do you charge to travel?

The package prices listed are for beach weddings in Brevard County. Travel fees are determined not only by distance, but also gas prices at the time of your event.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes we do. Check out our “Specials” page for any promotions.

Are you a wedding planner?

We actually don’t consider ourselves to be wedding planners, but as a friend. We will do our very best to assist you and offer suggestions concerning your wedding, even going beyond your actual ceremony. We can recommend a variety of vendors pertaining to travel, hotels, receptions, etc.

Do you need a license for vow renewals?
